question: how long should one expect to receive a thank you note for a wedding gift? my b/f lyn, her daughters wedding was a month and a half ago, the one I couldn't go to money wise and emotionally wise and I have heard nothing. am I expecting to much?
a new store has opened about 20 minutes from me and it is a whole foods store. all organic and very expensive. it pays employees really good so I am going to check it out. I do have experience, not with organics but a lot of things.
back a few days ago I wrote how I had to have frozen yogurt and went and got 2 containers, well danny ate half of one! he is gone for the weekend and he left on a very aggravated note. he was ticked off at me because I wanted the dishes, not many, that have been there for days to be done before he leaves and he said no, im late and I told him to do it. well, as usual the sink was clogging , he hadn't bought the drano yet and he got mad and said forget it. I happened to be right there and I must of had the look of I don't know what because he continued in silence. he didn't do the silver ware though. I must of had that mother look.
I am going to try so hard to get through today without getting upset and let go off the drama there. one co worker got upset with me the last day I saw her and she is working today. when she gets mad she doesn't talk to you and makes it clear she is pissed. it was over nothing. I am so sick of people and walking on eggshells, so old.
off I go and wish me luck with eating
oh, nala still has bad direahha

Im so excited you are going to check out that new store to see about a job... you really need to get out of the place you have been working theres so many unfair issues there its terrible.
As far as the thank you note for the wedding gift.... i would not let it get to ya... yes it would have been proper and respectful for her daughter to send out thank you notes but in the end im guessing you may very well not get one.... just seems to be the way of the world these days... showing thanks to someone that has given you a gift just seems to be a thing of the past with the next generation :( I always send a thank you for that sorta thing but im older and its just how our age group was taught i think.
HugggzZz hope your day goes great!
*hugs* g2g is right... old etiquette standards have gone away. Thank you notes don\'t get written in a world of text messages. I wish they would go back and start treating people with respect.
