survived the 2 doctors and it all went well, tough but good. talked about more things then i thought with dr. malerba, as usual. i brought up easter and how tensce things are over it. he had a good suggestion on how to deal, interesting actually. he suggested going in to easter like i am going to a friends or acquaitence(sp) and dont engage in tensce atmosphere, just stay back and observe. if i dont like what is going on, leave as you would at any other gathering. interesting, i had never thought of going to family holidays in that way.
dr. drew was happy with what i did, i actually achieved more then i thought, but he wishes i would give myself more credit and to be proud of what i am doing. we talked a bit about self worth and he says we are all brn with self worth, i was having trouble with this. he says, no matter what anyone does or is they still have self worth, used the saying, "hate the sin, love the sinner". well i didnt go along with that and cant wrap my head around it. i asked him what if someone murdered your family how would you feel then, wouldnt you hate that person? he pussyfooted around eneded up saying he would hate what he did, yeah right. about the food, right now he just wants me to keep adding variety, not keep adding it on top of what i am eating, just keep trying new foods and get used to eating many different things. then i will start combining the 2.
nala got a A+ and is free and clear!!
off to work

I like dr malerba\'s plan too but I wonder if it\'s easy to do that when you know it\'s your family and you have a history with them. But try and see what happens.
I agree with dr drew that you need to give yourself more credit. You are doing awesome and it\'s going to be way easier now that you know you don\'t have to eat all those things on top of each other but just have a variety. That might even become fun with time. I also agree with the self worth. Even a murderer has done something good in his life. He wasn\'t born an evil baby and he might be eaten up by guilt and regret and turn this into a positive for others.
Yeah for Nala!
