Then if you have problems you will be able to have someone to talk to directly. Put the ID of the people you have shared the number with in your profile. That way we can alert them and they can call you or call an ambulance if you need one. 3. Feeling High? (Manic, hypomanic, out of control) Call your psychiatrist or other medical professional. Let a friend or relative know. Make sure you are in a “safe environment” Consider voluntary hospitalization seriously. Other Ideas http://www.dailystrength.org/c/Bip... 4. Some basic advice from the UK Samaritans about what to say. http://www.samaritans.org/your_emo... also look at this http://suicidal.com/helping/ What to do if someone on DS is suicidal From Chuugernaut a) Try to get their phone number. this is important for 2 reasons.. one is so you can talk to them and keep them calm but the other is to give to the Police. If you can get there First name that will help but you can use there screen name if no other option is available. b) Call the State patrol. once you have there info, get a helper to call the State Patrol in the state of the victim and give the number to them. The information on the State patrol is available online by using your search engine and typing "(Nebraska) State Patrol" almost always it will be the first page available. Once there, a link should be available for contact info. Once you call them and have a dispatcher on the line, get the dispatchers number so that way if you need to call them back you can get the same Dispatcher for faster help.   The community leaders of this group will be glad to help you get started. Feel free to private message any of them as needed.
