My weekend was HORRIBLE!!!!! I went to work with Nursefinders, and was accused of falsifying records when it was not my fault. I went to work at a Nursing Home, but was not orientated well at all. The RN assumed that I knew the difference between a Pulse Ox and O2. I told her up front that I have worked in the hospital setting for about 2 years, and have associated the 02 as a percentage of oxygen in the blood. Well, at this place the Pulse Ox is the O2. Does that make sense? I told her that I had them mixed up, but its like it didn't even matter. She later talked to another nurse becuase originally she was not going to write me up, but then after she talked to the other nurse, she changed her mind. I was furious!!!! My anxiety and depression went up immediately. I told her what she wanted to hear, but on the paper, I mentioned she needed a write up too, and ironically she signed to it. On Sunday, after I worked that night shift in Attica Long Term Care, I was exhausted. I worked earlier that day with Interim from 12-6, then came home to sleep before I went to work with Nursefinders in Hutchinson. I struggled to wake up, and asked my fiance' to call them up for me. They told him that I needed to call in 2 hours in advance. I told him that it was not in the paperwork, so he passed it on. Eventually they said for me to call up on Monday, plus they wrote me up for it. I did not want to put my life in danger as well as my patients, but its like it didn't matter. Today, I recieved a phone call at 9:30 a.m. from Nursefinders, and it was HORRIBLE!!! I remained calm on the phone, but was treated HORRIBLY!!! I was belittled, and told I needed to be responsible as well as to stop playing games. I somehow remained calm, and knew that it was not professional how she was treating me. She ended by saying that I was given a warning, and if it happened again, then I would not have a job. (I am crying now again). I immediately called a friend up, and she told me how terrible the company is, and how they do that to a lot of people, and that I am not the only one, which made me feel better. I know i did the right thing, but hate how I feel. In a few weeks, I am going to send in my resignation. Can you give me input if there is anything else I need to add to it based off of what I told you? I normally keep jobs, but I refuse to be treated like this. Know what I mean? I also filed a complaint with the BBB. Here is what I have: I have enjoyed working for you as a CNA, but have concluded that I am no longer going to due to a variety of reasons. Here are my grounds for quitting. 1. I was responsible, but was treated with disrespect 2. The clients are more important than the employees; therefore, there is no equality in the workplace 3. Many assumptions took place during the conversation, which the employer belittled her employee in the process. Any thoughts on what to add? I hate how I feel. I hate it real bad. I know in my heart with both situations I did the right thing, it hurts real bad. I will send you all a new job update probably tomorrow, which will be better for me because it will be in my field. Praise the Lord!!!

Hun sorry to hear about what happened. i too work in the care industry and believe it or not, the clients do come before the employees. where i work the residents come first all the time, their confidentuality and safety. Sorry to put it like that but unfortunatly thats how it works. xxxxxxxxxxxxx
I\'m so sorry that happened to you. I guess they are so used to people being irresponsible slackers that they treated you like one. The really good thing is that you will always be able to find a job in your field. God may be working in your life right now and leading you to a really good job that you\'ll love.
Much love, Kim
I\'m sorry you\'ve had such an awful time. I don\'t know what I would do in your situation. Turn to God and seek his guidance. Wait on Him
well i think that is real shody and unproffessional of them to treat you in that way and i would say that gettin away from there is the best thing you can do. i can not think of anything you may add apart from maybe that they made you feel as though you were inferior in your postion and totally disparaged against for the wrong reasons.xx
Well done, and take encouragement in how you have dealt with this horrid situation. I agree that you have handled it very well.
I know you hate how much you feel anxious and depressed over this. Al I feel I can encourage you to do is actually ask God the Holy Spirit to be your counsellor and comforter. He is there and will comfort you more than anyone on earth can. Just ask, he listens and answers.
God Bless you.

I\'m sorry for you, this must bring a lot of stress and anxiety. I would listen to NothingAtAll
Gosh i am so sorry about what happend..... It is terrible. I wish I could be of more help.... Stay strong and it seems alot of people are here to support you and give you the answers you are seeking. Take care
I\'m sorry for the way you were treated that\'s just pathetic and that\'s good that your quiting!! I hope you get a better job and you\'ll be happy there!!! Joy
I\'m of the mind that you just submit a very professional, vague resignation letter. But prior to that, I think I would go in for a face to face with the woman who treated me poorly on the phone for a calm discussion about what had happened, and how you felt that she was unprofessional on the phone. Call it the teachable moment. THEN hand her your resignation letter and leave. I don\'t mind confrontation, and I also think people should be held accountable for their actions. Might not work for you, but that\'s how I\'d go after it. Good luck.
first of all, none of this is your fault.
second, the person who wrote you up isn\'t very nice.
third, if you aren\'t happy at this job, don\'t quit, let them fire you if they want to.
fourth, i know that what you did when you stayed home was a good choice, because that\'s what i would have done
you say a friend told you that happens a lot there? personally I would see if there was anyone that your friend knows personally or try and find others who were treated in the same disrespectful manner...the reason I say this,if it\'s the same person/people disrespecting employees below them...I would try and see what kind of action I could take to remove them from that environment. if they treat employees badly and all,what\'s not to say that they aren\'t taking it out on the clients as well...just a thought. as far as the resignation goes if you\'re not happy there chances are you\'re not going to do your best work...I don\'t know how long you\'ve been in this field...but right yourself up a resume, get some references, and start sending them out...all the luck to you...hug.
Eklord so sorry you are feeling so bad. I can\'t really comment right now because I don\'t know what you qualifications are and so therefore don\'t know what your responsibilities are. I am assuming that you are en EN. I work in the Aged Care setting so understand the workings. However i am in Australia so things may be different. Reguardless you shouldn\'t have been treated this way.
