catch up
I haven't written in a while. Things are so busy that by the time I get home at night I don't feel up to doing much but veg. It continues to be a bad winter for me as far as anxiety is concerned. It's been a really foggy year and the sun has not been out much. Two weeks ago I said I had had enough so on Sunday we packed a lunch and started driving up into the hills to get above the fog. We had to go all the way to Jamestown before the sun was out. It was beautiful up there, sunny and in the 70's. We sat on the tailgate of the truck with the dog and ate in the sun. It was a really nice day.
This past weekend he had an event to attend for work. He knows how I feel about drinking but asked me if I would go with him since others were bringing their spouses. I agreed to go and I am actually glad I did. It turned out to be a nice trip. It was a beer brewery tour put on by one of his vendors. We stayed in the Hyatt Regency downtown Sacramento. It's a pretty nice hotel. A bus took us around all day to different breweries all the way from Auburn back to Sacramento. There was lots of food and it was a beautiful sunny day. I had some anxiety first thing in the morning but then got to enjoy the rest of the day. Sunday we woke late and met friends for breakfast on the way back home. More really good food.
Anxiety is back again this morning. I kind of woke up that way so I am guessing I was dreaming about something that triggered it although I do not remember.
Work is pretty overwhelming right now although school is turning out to be an easy semester. Good thing since I am not sure I could have handled the pressure if both were monstrous. My daughter and my boss are both sick but both have colds and that is nothing like my anxiety symptoms so I think I am ok on that front.
I can't wait for this software conversion to be over at work. It's got my plate pretty full right now. Better get back to it for now.
