What makes one day normal and the next day filled with anxiety?  When I wake with anxiety is it only from whatever I was dreaming that I cannot remember?  I hate feeling like crap.  When I wake feeling bad it's always worse because it seems like I must be getting sick or something.  Who wakes up feeling sick like that if they aren't?  Oh yeah...crazy people like me.

With my illness I have been forced to become aware of limits on what I had taken, when well, for granted. I have experienced age discrimination along with gender discrimination in my life but the disability discrimination without good support has been a nightmare to adapt to and find survival. PTSD hit hard and adapting to crisis without good support presents issues I could not have even imagined possible before this became my reality. Illness was challenging with my husband here with me but life was always quality and there was not a moment of any day where I did not feel loved and well cared for. The reality of survival in this crisis without good support feels more as if I had been placed in confinement with a pack of starving cannibals. Adjusting is taking place and the PTSD is being better accepted.

Be gentle with yourself as you have overcome so much with life\'s struggles.

I think to survive being human it may even be good to feel a bit crazy at times. :-)
