1 year 2 months
We made a year and 2 months on Saturday. And this time round, i find myself short of words. Waht more can I say that I havent already said? My beloved daughter Sinza died, I love and miss her everyday. Nothings changed in that department, and in this lifetime, likely never will.
How am I coping now? I am fully surrendered to God. A few days back I got a message saying the cemetery where my daughter is buried (it a public cemetery- as she wasn't welcome to neither my family's nor her Dad's family's cemeteries. (Long story but part of the woes of a still born child of a single mom in Uganda) And my reaction to this message was to keep calm, pray to God, and wait fro him to act in her defense. The public cemetery was my LAST resort, i had nowhere else to bury my child, there are no cremation services here, so to be honest I have come to the end of myself, and resigned our case to God. That's the word I have been looking for: at i year and 2 months..I am resigned to our fate, whatever it may be.
