well tonight I had a free dinner....at a fairly comfortable restaurant that my buddy had everyone from the funeral for his sister invited to......it was a meal I tried to be good on and not be an overeater.....but my salad was a little bigger than I should have eaten and I got myself a cup of some really good chili with cheese and onions on it.....man that was good....I ate it all even if it was more than my body needed tonight to eat.....I had a nice dinner.....

Hey buddy sounds good my condolences to you and your friend and his family, I tend to eat too heavy at night, just finished a toasted bagel with peppermint tea

bagels are worse for you than a donut......that is because they are starch solid starch and they process into sugars.....more so than a sugary donut......with less starches.....but I love doing bagel sandwiches.....

I had a McCalisters Deli Giant Veggie Spud minus the cheese. Yum.

I had breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches and tater wedges from our local country gas and grocery last night.
Tonight or tomorrow I am making something like mapo tofu with jalfrezi sauce and fried chicken. I will also fry some red potatoes with that to add to sauce. Breading will have shredded desiccated coconut. Serve with white rice. I also have some red curry squash I want to bake then slice open and add brown sugar, spices, and butter. That will be dessert. I have a plantain I need to use. Might work that in somehow.
I recently bought some homemade ice cream for charity. It is Maple pecan flavor and delivered in a few days. I'm going persimmon picking tomorrow so we can have persimmon pudding and ice cream later in the week.

Should be easy to work the plantain into almost any part of the dinner, though might lean to adding it to the sauce.
