I got my fall and Halloween decorations put up. Even tho we rarely get trick or treaters I filled all the candy dishes with candy. I got good candy too, I've already eaten too much. I feel like it cleaned out my system. Now I need to stop for awhile lol.
Does anybody else remember the old orange and black wrapped candy? I think it was caramel...
I still see them for sale sometimes. That's usually all my mom would buy when I was a kid because it was cheap. I couldn't wait to go trick or treating and get good candy. I always liked twix, nerds, and m&ms.
Sometimes I got apples, oranges, and caramel apples, and I liked those too. There was one house that always had a station outside where you could get hot chocolate or cider. That was nice when it was cold out.
I have alot of good memories of Halloween, which isn't the case with other holidays. I guess that's why it's always been my favorite.

As a kid, my favorites with 100,000 bar, and Reeses Peanut Butter Cups...and I remember liking popcorn balls, and hating candy apples (although I only got them a couple of times.) I really can't imagine someone going through all of the work to make dozens of candy apples back then...but they did.
My kids liked M&Ms and plain Hershey Bars.
I like Reeses, Kit Kat, and M and Ms.
Selling 25/$5 thats 20cents each kid I think I will do that even though Lions choice is not right in neighborhood. It is trinket for kids whose parents dont drive then out to that store but I had wooden nickels as a kid
