Ok. So….This is what is plagueing my mind right now.
What if…I would not have ended it?
What if I would have just bit the bullet and continued to ride his wave of ‘disconnect’ ?
What if I would have ignored his lack of emotion?
He said he wasn’t himself and would eventually snap out of it. What if I would have just shut the hell up and let it play out?
Could things have eventually gone back to normal?

This will sound silly but my first tiny red flag was a text with no punctuation.
Thsi is what he wrote:
hows your day
no apostrophe, no question mark.
Say I'm crazy but this sort of thing is lazy and demonstrative of something much bigger.
During the 2 week 'disconnect' prior to the break up, I text him one day 'you know that I love you right?'
To which he responds an hour later 'yes'
WTF
I reply 'I have to know if you love me too'
4 hours later he responds 'love you too'
4HOURS LATER!
am I crazy?
