Women who Love too Much Community Group
WHEN BEING IN LOVE, MEANS BEING IN PAIN... This group is to help women through the journey of realizing they can love themselves. To help realize that they are capable of having a happy, healthy, whole relationship and break the cycle of abuse and heartache from loving emotionally unavailable men.
I Need a distraction. I was very busy yesterday and my mind was also busy with other things - so I was able to keep them at bay. I surrounded myself with things that don't remind me of him. I listened to some Jazz Bossa nova which is a genre of music I don't connect to him, which is rare because music was big between us. I felt like myself again, the self I was before him. I truly love myself, I felt that love yesterday and I haven't felt it in a long time because I've been so consumed with self loathing. Not being enough for him. I have to keep connecting to myself. It's the only way.
I can't think of a time since my teenage years when I haven't at least mildly obsessed over something or someone or other,
But it seems to have gotten way worse the past few years. I'm guessing it's the pressure of time. I don't want to be alone. I'm not one of those people that has come to accept that. I do well by myself physically, I don't need continuous company. But my heart has to belong to somebody. I love love. I want it very very badly and this is precisely the problem here.
Sigh, I live in Eastern Canada. - 8 month winter here. Could you not have said Autumn or something?
