Could I really be almost completely free of my obession with M?
I won't lie, I do still think about him but it's been a while since I've had an urge to connect with him. The yearnings to see his name on my phone come but they go really quickly. I find joy in things I used to find mundane while I was obsessing over him. I look forward to my nights after my son is in bed and I can chill with myself, with a good book, in my own company. I don't look for him so much out on the streets of our town. I don't daydream about what could have been. And mostly, I can allow myself to imagine life with another man. I'm actually interested in someone else and I'm not comparing this man to M. This thing with the other man is progressing very slowly. I haven't even seen him but we chat on a daily basis and I'm liking it.
I just feel like I need to pinch myself.
Still vulnerable though. I hope he doesn't call. I REALLY REALLY hope he's gone for good.

I don't think I'm over him. It did something to me when i saw him. I had to look away..just seeing his pick up was enough to throw me off track.
I'm okay but I know I'm not completely indifferent about him.
And I'm fine with that
