Not having heard his voice or seen him in over a month, he's slowly fading into the background. I feel much more relaxed, comfortable and content in my home after a long hard day at work. Wheres before, I never knew whether or not I would see him on any given night so I never really got settled into my couch with a good book. There was always that chance that he'd drop by. There's no risk of that now. It feels good. It feels right..healthy. BUT, it kinda makes me sad. It's odd how I know I'm on my way to getting over him and really flushing him out of my system, yet I kinda don't want to. Isn't that sick?
I don't want to not get a rush when I see his pick up, I don't want to not feel my heart in my throat when I hear a song that reminds me of him. etc.
What is wrong with me??

So am I. And I can already feel myself again. I lost touch there for a while..I'm starting to regain my equilibrium. Staring to be much more present and focused and things other than the obsession.

I'm struggling hard to fight the inner urge to see him and missing him. It's difficult. I know that sooner or later I'll end up in a place where I can stumble upon him. Then I'll just ignore him. He doesn't deserve all of the attention I've been giving him.

I know it's really hard to imagine a time and place where you'll feel indifference towards him. You know it'll happen but that eternity before it does, seems unbearable doesn't it? I know. before you know it though, it'll be here. I'm not 100% there yet but I've accepted that I will get there and I'm going to keep on with my journey while maintaining NC. I have this ridiculous fear though that he will contact me. I know he will and I know that when he does, it'll put me in a very difficult predicament. At this point, he knows that when/if he makes contact, it'll have to mean something so I have to be strong and not engage. Which is why I hope he holds off a while longer before he picks up teh phone, so I have more time to build up my defenses. I'm hoping he's busy with someone else, or whatever..anything to buy me some time.

Yes, we give them too much power. Even all this time spent on thsi site sometimes really pisses me off because it feels like it's just more power handed over to these men.

I know that sooner or later this moment will come. That I'll be able to walk past him and I won't feel anything. This will be like the biggest relief in the world.
I have to be strong to be able to ignore him if I see him. Last night I was shaking and sweating in bed.
This is not easy.... Ufff
