Women who Love too Much Community Group
WHEN BEING IN LOVE, MEANS BEING IN PAIN... This group is to help women through the journey of realizing they can love themselves. To help realize that they are capable of having a happy, healthy, whole relationship and break the cycle of abuse and heartache from loving emotionally unavailable men.
My experience has been very positive here. We have new members with many old ones who have left. I don't know if new people would understand your message and the old ones (not all but some) are gone.
I wonder if it would serve everyone better to just state positive recommendations--
Thanks for saying this: "we all handle our pain in different ways... and those of us here who are in a stronger spot, are here to hold up those who feel they can barely stand, and to show them they are not alone."
I am new here and for the past several days I've backed off a bit.
I've been feeling a little self-conscious.
Kind of second guessing if its ok to post the way I've really been feeling.
I was blunt and told her that her post was inappropriate.
I believe that is the only time I have expressed myself in that 'tone' (or with that degree of bluntness) with anyone on this site and if I offended those of you whom it spoke to, I apologize. Perhaps this message was directed at me because of this incident.
WWLTM:
It is amazing to see such warmth, acceptance and support amongst strangers.
This is a beautiful place of dignity where it is safe to share.
If you share something of a personal nature that you would like not to receive feedback on, please indicate so and your wish will be respected.
If you need more support and guidance, please ask for it. This is a place for self-discovery and perhaps, the most important of all is asking for help when it is needed instead of going to a position of being a victim.
Act with kindness and consideration to your neighbour. She may be further ahead or behind you on the path to recovery but she needs your compassion.
If there is something that offends you and it feels personal between you and another member, befriend the member and write a personal message (unless you feel it would be helpful to all).
Remember that you are not alone.
Consider the adage: Do not take anything personally.
Love yourself and show yourself compassion in your journey.
Support, love, nuture, listen, receive and give.
so i agree with creo... we are all on a path... some times it is smooth, sometimes rocky and some times it has a trap door that we fall into... x's
get a bit frustrated with us gals who are just coming to terms with the fact that we are WWLTM?
