Women who Love too Much Community Group
WHEN BEING IN LOVE, MEANS BEING IN PAIN... This group is to help women through the journey of realizing they can love themselves. To help realize that they are capable of having a happy, healthy, whole relationship and break the cycle of abuse and heartache from loving emotionally unavailable men.
I know for sure I'd take the Black Forest Gateau every time. Nom nom nom. In fact I did just earlier,...well treacle tart and cream, but it was ACTUAL cake and not a metaphor for men ;) ha ha.
If I run with the metaphor thing (which I love btw :) I HOPE so much that I've finally found the way to stop wanting a bite of the X cake...and it was actually finally hearing him tell me he HAD been talking to other women.
It has lifted a little something from me.
A dark cloud, hmm not entirely sure yet... I will wait and see if the rain stays off...
I sure as heck hope it means I can at least walk past the desert trolley (i.e. coming online) and turn my nose up at it (i.e. not checking he's online).
I'm going to be alone for a while.
I think it's for the best.
I don't really date much anyway, but if I did, I'd hate to drag anyone else down with me in the meanwhile, no one else ever deserves that. I at least like to think I have respect for other people, unlike X.
I know it shouldn't be a motivation to stay with a bad relationship, but for so many of us WWLTM fear of being single, feeling a failure, feeling outcast and that you are maybe unlovable can be some of the underlying factors for staying...I'll be honest, I now know it was there in the back of my mind.
But then again staying with the sinking ship just so it's not you they're talking about behind your back at the coffee circle, "what will we do about X, she needs a good man in her life that's all" would be no good for you either :S
