Women who Love too Much Community Group
WHEN BEING IN LOVE, MEANS BEING IN PAIN... This group is to help women through the journey of realizing they can love themselves. To help realize that they are capable of having a happy, healthy, whole relationship and break the cycle of abuse and heartache from loving emotionally unavailable men.
He texted again 'I know I don't deserve a response, just want you to know I'm thinking of you. have a safe trip.'
I know you probably don't want to hear this, but two things are happening here:
1. He is telling you he isn't worth a response. And the truth is, men tell us who they are ALL OF THE TIME and we choose to ignore them. I remember the last round I got back with my ex, I asked him about how he could be so cold to me. His response? "Because I'm an asshole". And guess what?? He wasn't kidding. They know when they aren't worth our time. He's admitting he knows that. We have to believe them when they tell us who they are. He spelled it out for you and deep inside you know it's true. Now you have to choose to let it go.
2. You are a beautiful strong woman who probably feels a little validated by the texts (that's what many of us here struggle with, right?) so you now have to validate yourself. You have new hair and hot nails and you're all ready to get this sexy show on the road lady! You have room in your purse for many things. A camera, lipstick, maybe a good book, photos of your awesome son...but there's not enough room for this guy and all his baggage. Leave it behind when you're packing sweetie.
Who is this woman??
