Hi there
Do anyone know about any affordable out patient rehab here in the UK?
I'm at the end of my tether with him (although how many times have I actually said that?) tonight he got drunk on vodka again and our 4 year old daughter didn't like the way he was and said 'mum papa scares me'. What sort of a mum am I if I stay. How long until she realised what her dad is? :(

You have to do what's right for you, even if that means you stay, but your daughter already knows something is wrong, and before you worry about getting him help you need to get help for you, and for her. You can't force him to quit, he has to want to. He has to hit rock bottom and has to want to change for himself. Maybe you leaving is the answer. Sounds horrible and harsh but honestly as codependents we put them first when we should put ourselves first! And our kids! I don't know about rehabs there but there has to be an addiction services or even women's shelter you can turn to for information... that's what I did.

Hey there this is Ginny. Have you told him (when he's sober) that he's scaring the kid? My darling husband actually didn't realize it until I told him. Once I did I think he was actually kind of embarrassed. He started going out of sight to just pass out. Awesome.
