I knew you weren't in the United States Bahama but didn't know you weren't Dezna, I am in the UK hence the not figuring out where everyone is in relation to me in time zones, very confusing !!!! Lol

It's actually rather easy to keep track of. I'm in the east so I'm on Eastern Standard time. All you do is subtract an hour for each time zone going West. Right now it's about 6pm EST, so it's 3 pm in California.
be glad you're not in Russia. They used to have 10 (I think it was 10). The government just got rid of a few to simplify things.

NOW does anyone know WHY we have time zones?

That is a very good question ALC67. I am sure it has to do with the earth's rotation on it's axis. Different places get daylight at different times. Someone must have decided to adjust the times accordingly. I am on Eastern Standard Time too. My relatives in Iceland are 5 hours ahead. My relatives in Luxembourg are 6 hours ahead. Some (DS) friends in Austrailia are 14 hours ahead of me, though I am sure Austrailia has many time zones too.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
