Depends on the time of day. If its during the time when my kids get rowdy (usually in the evening) I'd prefer to text. Other times I'd prefer to talk.

I have no way of texting people and calling is problematic since my landlady and her son listen in on my calls so I usually just email people when I can.

Texting is fine when it comes to stuff like: Are you safely home / Don't forget to buy bread / I know you're busy phone me some time - stuff like that but nothing beats a telephone call which its so much more personal.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
