Youtube won't run on my computer????

I have windows 7 and I can not get youtube stuff to run
What do I need to run these? Thanks

I am having trouble with you tube as well. Just got a new computer with Windows 7 and geez, they have a different work for everything now!
Hope some tech savvy DS member has the answer for us. Need to catch up with my British soaps and they will not play on You Tube.

Here are your requirements.....

Adobe Flash Player 10.0.22+ plug-in
Firefox 1.1+, Internet Explorer 7.0+, Safari 1.0+, Google Chrome, or Opera
Broadband connection with 500+ Kbps

Trying to download adobe flash player (per computer geek son) somehow will not install ----download too slow....sigh keep trying

What are you seeing, error message of any kind? I am doing a windows 7 rollout with IE9 at work, and Youtube is working fine. I need to know what exactly you see, or don't see. This is what I do for a living, create the windows image, package the applications and push out to our user community. Youtube should work fine on Windows 7 with either IE8 or IE9. Windows 7 comes with IE 8. I will tell you if you are on dial up, it is very difficult to watch youtube. You can try the steps in this link: http://www.wikihow.com/Watch-YouTube-Videos-With-Dial-Up and see if it helps.
