My neighbors deep well just went dry. We have been sweating our shallow wells going dry. We are sure my 309 feet well which has not been up and running for 20 years. So when they shut our ditches down from the river our shallow wells will go dry. I am thinking of ways to survive I do have a camper I can get up and running for me but school starts soon.
I think I can move my horses to neighbors who have no water problems,
and look for 50 gallon drum for back of my pickup.

OK your prayers have worked thus far so need some for keeping water going and rain.

OMG so many prayers coming ur way! With everything else to deal with u shouldn't have to worry about water as well! What some of us take for granted others view as a cherished commodity. Ur in my thoughts! Rain rain nicker07 needs you!

Nicker, I live in a drought stricken area and we've been conserving our water daily. I feel for you and your horses.

I will say an extra prayer for you in hopes that you can make it through this summer until the rains come again.

Do you suppose a lot of the drought(s) out there might possibly be linked to fracking? It makes me sick to think of how the greed of man is ruining Mother Earth and putting all inhabitants in jeopardy. (Sorry, off topic maybe and I don't want to get started.)

In any event, yes . . prayers coming your way!! At least you have the neighbors that are willing to share their property with your horses! That's a blessing for sure. I'll be thinking of you . . hugs, D

Glad to hear that prayers are working. I have friends in California who have been dealing with so many wild fires. This morning, I found out that there is one burning close to family in B.C. Yes, please Lord let it rain in all the drought areas!!! Sue

AGAIN PRAYERS ARE ANSWERD. I previously ask for prayers for one of my favorite teachers who was going through surgery and possible cancer prognosis with 3 little ones....NO CANCEEEEER
Drs. were not hopeful.

Fires all around WA - smoke coming in - 2 new fires up in my area but in wilderness no firefighters to fight, two friends in two separate new fires one in Oregon, one in WA had to leave, one friend in separate fire had to move cattle out of harms way in rangelands, lightning tonight here no rain,

I am getting plans ready to ride out no well water: camper being put to use as needed, plastic, paper, water being stored for toilet, and horses will be moved to friends, so I will stay home use shower in camper, drink bottled water, use storage container water for little uses and learn little usage. School starts Sept 1 so will began work, will launder elsewhere. IT IS DOABLE. inconvenient but I am not on fire. ...shhhh knock on wood
