Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.

There truly aren't words that help to stop the pain. Just takes time to work thru it. Everyone is different. My wife went to heaven a year ago, so I know it does dull and get better. Reaching out for others does help. You just have to remember that we are all different and handle grief differently. Just do what you need to do that helps you get thru. That is very young to lose someone. My wife was 52 and I 56 at the time. Still young. When here there may be times you just need to vent others you may need advice just reach out. What helped me was to listen to those who had already been where I was going. This is new territory and it helped to hear from those gone thru it.
Take of yourself.
Peace, Tim
I lost my fiancé Jimmy... it's been 16 weeks ago yesterday.
I'm new in the grief stages and probably don't have the best advise at this point but I can tell you that it does help to read other stories of people who can understand and relate to that pain.
It's a very lonely world to be in without the one you love and finding the strength to get through the day can feel impossible at times but as long as you stand up and take the steps to care of yourself each day...You'll find that strength to carry you the rest of the way.
I hope you find peace and comfort tonight and know that there are so many of us that care and understand what you are feeling.....Take care and stay safe
Hugs, Nanette
