Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
You are definitely not a bad person for having feelings. I suspect we all cast around for a new direction and stability when we are cast adrift. No need for guilt, you've not done anything wrong. The only advice I would give from my experience is don't do anything hasty that can't be undone. Take your time. And use this site to write out your feelings and gain some support and perspective from others who understand. Warm wishes. Sandy
|As I was taught when I was younger. Feelings are neither good nor bad it is what we do with those feelings that is important.
We are all human Danielle and I am sure all of us on DS shares what you are going through.
Big hug to you and your daughter.
Hugs!

I can't say I want to find a "replacement" however, I would love it if Morey would just come back!!!!
How do you give yourself, wholly and entirely to one person and then be expected to just move-on?
I think your longing comes from the habit of belonging! I loved belonging to someone and I miss that so much!
Hang on, it's a rough ride,
