and always together. Yesterday I nearly lost it when I had to shell nuts. My hubby used to love doing that. I dont know how I will handle Christmas. Do you have plans? My friends want me to their home. I would rather stay home, I'll see. Hang in there and try your best, I will too. Benie
God can help you, just lean on him. It takes time and sometimes more time for you than others, but trust me it will get a little better. DS along with God has gotten me this far.
You are in my prayers.

It is very tough seeing reminders everyday of the loss such as people discussing relationships, holidays and general sharing of life. I've gotten to the point where I'm numb and don't let these things try to bother me. It's horrible, but to survive, I have to keep my perspective in order or I'll be angry and sad all the time.
We have lost a large part of ourselves that brought such joy to our lives. Without that partner, we have to try to focus on the good things that we have such as health and relationships.
Sending you lots of hugs,

Just a tad over 6 months ago I lost my best friend, lover and one heck of a great husband to me and dad to our daughter... tears wouldn't stop, sleep wouldn't come, I felt like I just couldn't go on another day... it does get bearable, you can make it through another day... everyone will reach that day at a different time, but it is ok to mourn for as long as it takes... I still just break down out of the blue, I easily start to cry at the silliest things, but thats ok... tears help wash away some of the pain... one day at a time...one tear at a time.
Hugs
