From the very snowy, rainy Pacific Northwest I wish all of you a safe and Happy Turkey day.

A time when we are encouraged to count our blessings: While many of us are sad because our greatest blessing is gone count the one Turkey Day that sticks out with you - and count that as a blessing you got to share.

Please be safe and take care of YOU Just You for a blessing, you are all a blessing to be here and that is one thing to remember. I know on days thats hard to want to believe but it is true, so I want you on this day of blessings to bless you.

My prayer is for healing for your heart and soul, and life that is to be from this day forward. I pray your life you are struggling to find now comes true, and laughter and happiness becomes the abundant now.

It never ceases to amaze me at the love, compassion, and true caring of the amazing men and women on this site that I am fortunate enough to have come into contact with.

This was truly beautiful.

I hope that you and yours have a wonderful Thanksgiving, full of love, warm memories, and SMILES, while being thankful for what it is we had and DO have in this life.

Blessings and thanks to you too. Make the best of this Thanksgiving Day, as our other half would of wanted for us to. I hope the weekend is filled with activity for many on here!
If I could make it to the Northwest again, I would. But, just came back from there......someday..... I may just live there for good.

The sun's finally coming out here in Mid-Western Missouri, but it pales in comparison with the brilliance and beauty I see every day when I come here.

Nicker, thank you for this thread. And to everyone else, my wish is that you can find at least one thing to be thankful for...one occasion that lets you smile through the sadness. To my DS Family, who are all so very, very special to me, have a lovely and safe Thanksgiving. You will all be in my thoughts tomorrow, as you are every day. Marilyn

Thank you and to all of our DS members may your Thanksgiving be peaceful and may the love we shared with our loved one be ever present and may it be a comfort to us always. Its times like these that we are tempted to dwell on what we have lost, but let us not forget what we had which is so important. Our lives are all changed because of the one person we shared it with. Though we miss them, we have the memories of the laughter, the love, the excitement, the joy, the adventure and all that our relationship was and we wouldn't have traded that for anything. Bless you all with peace and love.

Thank you for the reminder to think about a thanksgiving that I remember the most. Those memories, while they bring a sadness to my heart, they bring a smile to my face. Thankfully, my husband would always videotape the holidays, so I can watch them someday, when I'm ready. I will carry what you've said here with me throughout the holiday.
Happy thanksgiving. We do have much to be thankful for, psst and present ;)

Thank you for the kind words and reminder that we all do have blessings, although it might be hard to not to feel sad and lost, rather than grateful. If we search our hearts, there are blessings to count.
