Is anybody awake? Since I lost my husband of 23yrs. 2yrs ago, I can't sleep. I never sleep. I hate it!

Yesss.. Hate it!! But no matter how exhausted i am mentally or physically.. I can't fall asleep or turn my brain off. Ive been watching the hrs roll by all nite. I wanna cry now looking at the clock bc half of my children have to be up by 5:15. My 3 month old will be up shortly after tht to be fed an changed then i have to get another one of my boys up at 6:45 to get him ready for school. I also have a 3 yr old tht will be awake after the others are off to school by tht time so theres NO such thing as dozing off or catching cat naps thru the day bc im terrified sonething might happen or she'll get hurt if im asleep. I hope u have easier nites in your near future... Hugs to you

I live in Australia so it's nice to find someone on line. My husband passed away just a mere 4 weeks ago. I am still processing all what has happened in such a short period of time.
I stumbled across this website while I had a sleepless night, nothing similar in Australia it seems.

My nights aren't too bad - the morning's are my worst time.

My husband died on March 3 2016..the only thing I remember is coming back and figuring out how to kill myself..I decided on allergic pills and a plastic bag tied around my face so I would die..then I heard a voice saying You would do that to your own son..have him find his Mother like that ??? So I didn't. ..within 2 weeks I was completely out of my mind..was put in the psyc ward...for the weekend...I thought i had handled it well...

But after 2 more visits to another psyc ward on the same 2 days...well my son had to sign me out the last time..and If I went back automatic 3 or 6 months..in the real crazy ward..needless to say I learned loads..Breathe..Breathe..love yourself Love why your husband you because your You. If you need someone we are usually here.

Sorry for your loss. I loss my wife one month from on this day and I can't sleep either I live in a small town so I can't go out any where to take my mind off cuz nothing open and everyone asleep so I know how u feel.
