Rick, you are making my point exactly. Over the last three weeks I have witnessed my friends and family struggle to try and find some comforting words for me. There have been times that those words were out of line or misunderstood. I choose to focus on the courage and love that it took for them to simply reach out to me and try to offer comfort and strength. I chose to focus on the fact that these people took the time and chance to simply try and make me feel better, and I have appreciated each and every one of them regardless of whether or not I agreed with their message. Not many outside of this board really understands what we are going thru. I was simply hoping that this nice lady could find some love and encouragement from all of her supporters, even if she disagrees with their message. I am not pushing any of my beliefs or my faith on anyone. I was just trying to help as so many have helped me.

I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s so new and raw. People mean well...they just don’t get it though.

Ty...what a great response. So many of us get angry by what others say. Then we get angry when people say nothing. I very much appreciate your point that at least they put the effort into trying to comfort us at all whether we agree or not with the message. Again, they mean well in their own way. At least they care enough to reach out. I know some will say they’d rather have no comment than one that disagrees with their beliefs...but honestly some of my friends really don’t know my beliefs...they just react through their own and what they know. I for one am thankful that they care enough to reach out to me at all. I have a wide circle of friends that I care for deeply. Our opinions may vary greatly but the common denominator is our love for each other.
