Good luck on the response, altho' I think some signs come through - sometimes its hard for us being human to recognize them
you are Welcome
At other times I may hold conversations with myself (in my mind) and with Frank...but those are inner discussions.
I have had those with God, too!
I believe we pray to God. WE may ask for intervention and pray about our lost love ones. Prayer does not have to be a formal conversation. Talking with the Lord and mentioning His name then having the faith that He is listening and truly understands what we are trying to convey or asking for Him to help with, your pain, grief or problem is where faith comes in. As for an answer there is a bible verse that says "BE still and know that I AM GOD. To me it means we must sit quietly and listen for a sign or message to our prayers from God. Knowing that we may not ever get an answer but keeping the hope and faith alive within us.
I converse with my departed loved one and not knowing where she is I hope she can respond or send a message of comfort in some way.
Talking to myself is one way to gather my thoughts and some times gain comfort or calmness.
That is what I believe.
Peace to you,
Dave
Sometimes I hear my husband's voice in my head, and it's comforting remembering his wisdom, or a pet name. I call to him, mainly just his name but I don't really converse with him, although I know friends that talk to their husband's ashes, and at their graves.
I look for signs of the positive life force that was my husband around me, and within me.
I dont pray to my husband, but I do I talk to him alot..sometimes I am crying and praying to God and then find myself crying and talk to my husband. I do talk to myself too....I am well rounded haha! Though sometimes in the early months I thought I was losing my mind...its all part of the healing. I visit his grave quite often too..that helps me too. For me the only time I have peace is after I have prayed and talked to God. ~Blessings Debbie
According to scripture, the disciples were also confused about this and asked Jesus to teach them how to pray. He followed with what is now known as "The Lord's Prayer," (Our Father, Who Art in Heaven....), a prayer that covers every base.
But, they all start by aknowledging God .
