I am grateful that I have peace as I traveled this journey without my Clint. When he first passed away July 27th of last year, so many things were happening in my head, I thought I would go insane. I first discovered Daily Strength and stayed on it on day, sometimes early in the morning when I couldn't sleep. I found myself drawing to God, reading devotionals, the bible and books on grieving, particularly for widows. In January, I went to my first support group at our church and after two sessions, found it was not a fit for me. Someone told me about another church that had a group and I joined in March and am still there. It has been a blessing. The same people (18-20) who was there when I came are still coming every month and we have a love fest each time we meet. We call or write to each other when we are away and are always happy to greet each other. This path has led to me to do inspirational sayings, copy, laminate and pass them out to my group and it has grown to handing sending to those who are sick or have lost a loved one. Yesterday I handed out some to some homeless people. It has helped me heal as I have been blessed, I want to be a blessing to someone else. I loved my husband very much. He was my second husband and a father to my children. We were together 36 years. As a single Mother I prayed for someone to love and be loved by. Not only did God send me love, but also love for my children. He walked my daughters down the aisle, was best man at my son's wedding, was there when their children were born, and on and on and on. I am grateful and the hope I have, is that I will see him again. But for now his spirit is strong within me and my tears are tears of wonderful memories we shared together.

My mom passed away on June 18th. I was her cargiver and only child. Although she was 89 years young and it was "expected" I don't know how to BREATHE without her. I stay busy throughout the day but I can only do that so long until I burn out! I'm all alone now and don't know what I'm going to do!! I can only fake it for so long. I'm TIRED of losing my people!!!!

I am grateful for so much. I live in the home we built, I have a good job with decent pay that allows me to pay my monthly bills, though our trucks are not new (2003 & 1997) they are paid for and running, the times I have to force myself to do something and the peace I receive when it's done, the list goes on...they are small everyday life blessings that I still share with Wayne but I also do for myself. It is my life now and I must accept that, grow into and enjoy the new blessings I discover along the way.
Thank you for asking. Love and Hugs-Jewley
as a couple which was a incredible blessing rather than focus on the loss itself. I could fill a page with many more but those are the two that stand out right now.

I'm grateful for my health, a wonderful 40 years with Marv, my home, My children, grandkids , friends and people on this site!
You've been here for me all hours of the day and night and helped me through my darkest hours. I've told you things I've never gold anyone else and feel I can say anything and you will understand,
Where else does that happen?
Love and thank you all!
