myself I am still married and always be married to Ken.. He was the only at the time boy I ever dated and my one and only marriage my soulmate.. I'm not to the anger stage and don't think I will be.. He couldn't help he got ill and the doctors didn't give him the proper care and that he should still be here.. I will never take off my wedding ring it has been on my finger for 38 years this coming April 28th and as the inside of my ring says April 28th /73 through eternity it will be on till my ashes will be mixed with his..
now that I have dibble on.. you do what you need to.. try taking it off and seeing how you feel about not wearing it.. You might change your mind and put it back on.. or put it on a change around your neck.. just a suggestion..
take care..
I didn't wait all my life (got married at 45) Just to give up my wedding ring 5 years later. we were married 5 years, together 18 years.
I love loving him...

Since I use my maiden name and have all during our marriage, I guess I am a Ms., but I am still a married woman in my eyes, so the rings stay. Judith
So - don't decide anything based on what you think others may think - because you can never know. Instead decide based on what you want to do. I still wear my rings - after more than a year.
