I talk to George, I also get signs. When I’m in the car driving home from a bad day and traffic is horrible, I lose my patience say a few choice words and then a song comes on that he used to play for me! And I know he’s telling me to calm down, so I move over to the right lane and take a few deep breaths.
We have a spare bedroom we called it “ the lounge “ he would play his guitar and we’d listen to music and have a few beers and laughs.
Well usually after I have a sad day, that door will close and the only person here is me so I believe he’s letting me know he’s here, which is comforting.
They say there are signs, we just need to be on the lookout for them. I hope you get one soon!

You are not going crazy. I talk to my husband all the time. I wait and watch for signs from him but I haven’t seen or felt anything. I lost him in January so I guess I am just too raw yet. I pray every night that he will send me a sign. My heart physically aches for him. I have no idea what my future holds....most days I don’t care...I can’t see it without him.

I've been finding feathers since about six months after Bob passed away. I find one usually when I'm on my way to do something I enjoy.
Another sign I get is from Blackbirds. They always seem to be in my path. Both feathers and blackbirds are a source of comfort for me.

I talk to my boyfriend a lot, I think we all do at some point in our day. And because I am alone now,except for my cat. I think she thinks I am nuts, witnessing all the freaking meltdowns I have been having for 9 months since he left!!! My physicians nurse says maybe my cat is my boyfriend!! Is that possible?? What do yous think?? I wish it was, at least he would be with me in some form and I pet her a lot. It is a female though. I know they say they are always with us, but I want him back physically, thank you please!!!! My eyes are swollen again because I feel so lonely and see the couple who live across the street still have each other and feel so jealous. How would one of them feel if they lost their other half. What freaking life lesson is this. Why do we need this lesson?? Why is it some people like us have to go through this?? Just think life can be so unfair!! Sorry, getting carried away, will end it on this negative note, sorry. Hugs to all going through this horrible nightmare can't ever wake up from!!!!

I talk to my husband all the time. I don't see many signs but I think its because im not open enough to see them, I am still very tense and sad. I have gotten a few since he's been gone but mostly when I am with my youngest son. I am always asking for more. Just so I know he's here. I live alone so I guess if anyone seen or heard my rambling they might think I have lost my mind. I certainly believe they can hear us and we must find new ways of receiving their replies. Hugs

Yes, I talk to Jordan a lot. Certain birds, feathers, songs, butterflies have been signs from him. Our loves are with us for sure, and they hear us. Sometimes the signs are subtle.

Yes, I still do sometimes, even after all this time. In the early months, I set aside time very night before bed to have a one-sided conversation with him. After 30 years, I just felt like I would burst if I didn't talk to him. I have had signs, odd stuff, and I have felt him near me numerous times. Be patient; the signs will come.

John and I would take walks on the campus at a local college and would play a little game to see who could pick up the most change that students had dropped. There were mostly pennies. Although it didn't happen right away, I started finding pennies, some in the most unusual places, and at times when I really needed to know that he was watching over me. Although it has been several years since his passing, I still find pennies; and it makes me feel so happy when I do. Yes, I still talk to him, too. When someone you love has been such a large and important part of your life, that does go away just because they are no longer here. Your wife will always be in your heart, and it's just natural to want to talk to her. Signs may not come right away (mine didn't), but I believe that she is watching over you; and those signs will appear one of these days. Roxanne

I spoke with Denise all the time. Through my journals, my thoughts and prayers. As for signs, they come at their own time, not the time you ask for them.
Just like fishing - you don't catch a fish every time the bobber moves. Not that I know much about fishing.

Even as one who doesn't believe in an afterlife, I do talk with Dana. Mostly, it's just to say "I miss you..." and "I love you.." As to signs, maybe not in the way you mean, but I thought I'd share what a like-minded friend sent me when she learned of Dana's death. These words still give me comfort even as they bring tears to my eyes and a lump to my throat.

I've thought a lot about what I could say to you. You know that I do not believe in god, but I decided to share with you what I believe in.
I believe that we are all part of something greater. I believe in the human soul, and I believe that true love never dies.

I believe that we can feel the love of the ones we love and lost, in the warm embrace of the sun on a beautiful morning in the spring, in the refreshing breeze of the wind on a summer evening, in the sound of a river, after a hard day of work, in the bright light of the snow on a mountain peak.

I know that your heart, mind and soul are big and pure, and I know that you and Dana shared a love that will support you for the rest of your life.
I wish you a lot of fresh breeze, warm sun, soothing river and bright snow. I wish that, everyday, you can feel the love you share with Dana.
And I wish that some day you finally find her again, in the breeze, the sun, the river and the snow, and that your love is felt by your children and grandchildren.

Stephen I feel the same as you about afterlife and speak the same things to my wife. If i’m Wrong an there is some type of afterlife, my prayer is my wife is going at the speed of light in some faraway place in the universe she loved observing not sticking around here.

I talk to Brenda quite often. There are just some things that happen that I know she was part of. Then there are the times I have been in the shower and feel her hands on my shoulders. One particular thing which happened was a visit during the night when I saw her on my parents couch having been told by my daughters that she was there. This time she told me she was OK and that I would be OK too. Such things give my soul peace. We are told to be quiet and listen for God's plan. I hope you get to experience such things.
