One of my co-workers seems to have a gift communicating with those who have passed.

She was working at one of our buildings this morning, packing items for mailing. She asked what she could do to help me in my grief journey. Unexpectedly, a paper with her notes fell to the floor, which would not have ordinarily happened. So she says again, "OK, so what do you want me to tell her?" And the response was:

Cool it. Have fun. I am very happy where I am at.

My husband always used the term "Cool it". I am sure it was from him.

Just a little comfort for everyone.

That's amazing and wonderful. I recently read the book "Messages: Signs, Visits and Premonitions from Loved Ones Lost on 9/11" by Bonnie McEneaney. I was so touched by how many widows of 9/11 have received signs from their loved ones. I have only had a few indirect ones -- my best friend keeps telling me that you have to open up & accept.

Oh, debbie...just fabulous! I believe in those things (with a tad healthy skepticism thrown in) and I'm with suzie...what a wonderful gift. My communications with Vern have all come from being with him for so long and knowing what he would say to me because we'd talked about it so often (we had literally nothing left over to need to say to each other). I'm so glad for you.

What a gift! I truly believe in these communications from our loved ones - in fact I am writing a book about it.

Hi Debbie, Let me tell what happened to me yeaterday. We had just the most beautiful fall day here. I live in the country, have a lot of trees around my house. All day long these blackbirds, I mean hundreds of them filling the tops of my trees, like something out of a movie. They had been making noise all day, and quite frankly getting on my last nerve. I said to my husband. "If you sent this beautiful day, Thank you, but could you please do something about the birds. As soon as I said this they were gone, I mean gone, no sound of them no sight of them. I said Wow, thank you, that was fast. Now I don't know if he really had anything to do with it, but I'd like to think that he did, and is still hanging around me. Thank you for the post. Hugs: Donna

That's simply WONDERFUL. I am so HAPPY for you, and I am sure it gave you such a peace.

As I've said before, I wholeheartedly believe in signs from our loved ones, and have had many. It IS a metter of having an open mind, and open heart. I truly DO believe that.

And Donna, ABSOLUTELY that was your sweetie giving you some much needed quiet! :-)

I am reading "Love lives on" right now from a reccomendation f rom a friend here, and it is truly amazing, the ways in which we do get communications at times.
