This made me chuckle, maybe your husband threw the glasses at you. I have things happen like this also. My grandchildren say that grandpa tells my guardian angel & Jesus when I can't find something. You know Tru, they that are in heaven are aware of what is happening here on earth..I guess some answers we will get when we go home ourselves.

Sounds like your husband is looking after you. How ironic I havent been able to find my glasses either. Hopefully they will show up somewhere.

I believe your husband DID find your glasses for you. I have had thingslike this happen to me as well.

I was at the cemetery a few weeks ago. I don't remember now if I was singing (he always said I couldn't sing) or telling him I hadn't paid a bill (he hated when I bounced a check or paid a bill late --he never did in his entire life). Anyway, he is buried under a huge oak tree. Whatever I was saying or singing, the next moment, an acorn clobbered me right on the head.
The funny thing is, if I had told him I paid a bill late or bounced a check, he'd bop me on the head like he was reprimanding a child.
I looked up and said "I KNOW you did that!"

I quit smoking dec 12 2009 because i woke up and david was sitting on the side of my bed and he said, "you gotta quit smoking baby."
well, i quit immediately. he'd been gone 6 months and he must have thought it awfully important for me to quit if he had to come back and tell me himself.

Oh, I think your dear hubby did throw your glasses at you! He knew how important they were, so gave them back. Sounds strange, but I believe they are still there protecting us. My bed shakes at night. Nobody in the house except me. It happens often, usually when I'm really sad. And not the whole bed, just under my legs and hips. I've tried moving to another spot on the bed, but the gentle shaking persists. At first I thought I was going nuts. Then I thought it was an earthquake (no I don't live in an earthquake zone), but it happens quite frequently, and nothing else in the room shakes. I think it's my dear hubby, reassuring me.

I stopped into the gas station, filled up the car and reached into my purse for my wallet. Pulled out hubbys wallet instead! I guess he wanted to pay for the gas. LOL! And there are so many other little things.....

I really believe that your husband was watching out for you. Since Chris passed away I have experienced many strange, unexplained things. I do believe that they are watching out for us.

I think that was definetely your husband. Since my husband passed away, I noticed a lot of strange things happening too. The hardest part for me is taking care of all the accounts, taxes, bills, etc. He used to take care everything. For some reason, I got everything taken care of pretty smoothly. It seem like Phil is sending help for me. I just happened to meet all the right people who could help. And a lot of time, I hadn't done anything yet when I called in the rep said it was taken care of by somebody and surprised himself. I recalled when Phil just passed, I cried out loud and asked him for help with all the paper work. The lights were flicking for a few minutes right away like he heard me and answered me. There are other signs that show he is still around and watching over me. It's been almost 5 months for me now.

You should feel blessed that this happened. There are others who desperately wish for signs from their loved one but never got it. I feel so much comfort when receiving those signs. Take care, Tru ! And thank you all for sharing your experience. That is the strong confirmation that our loved one - their spirits - still live on and watching over us.

The funny part about this is that my husband was always the one losing his glasses. I'd find them in the darndest places, like under the sofa or on a bookshelf. My mom gave him a metal case to put them in, but it didn't work.

If he found them for me, I'm sure he's laughing. I never lost my glasses.

Tru, I believe it was your hubby that found them too. There have been times while driving my beloved Pat tells me to go a different roaute that usual. Sure enough, I heard on the traffic report later that had I gone the first way, I would have had a long wait due to road construction or whatever. Just go with it and accept it. Hugs, Wendy

I say why not. My husband has been gone for almost 3 years now but I still have strange things happen. The most recent one was just the other day when our daughter came home from college for a visit. She found a small corner off of piece of paper on the floor in her car it was her fathers handwriting on it. 3 street names and directions on turning left or right. The strange thing is she and I bought the car for her 11 months after he passed he was never in the car had never seen the car and she didn't have anything of his in her car. I told her it was his way of welcoming her home.
Before he passed I was skeptical of these strange things but now there have been to many to be coincidence. When it happens to others I am more convinced that they are still with us.

If you read my last post you'd see or remember that I found money that I KNOW was not there for the past 6 months - but now it was. What was more surprising it that it showed up the morning we buried his ashes. Too much of a coincidence.

I thought I was "losing it" when some things like this happened to me. My husband just died 3 weeks ago, and I've had alarms go off in the hall and the water heater closet for no reason.
The next morning I found the coffee pot unplugged and I never unplug it.
This morning I got up and the hall light was on and the router I remembered turning off last night in his office was on.....glad others are having these experiences.
I asked Tim a couple of weeks before he died that if there was a way to let me know he got to heaven safely that he would let me know, and he nodded yes. Maybe thats what's happening.
Another weird thing is that every evening our dog goes into super protection mode once or twice. He must be hearing or seeing something I don't. Very interesting conversation.
