Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
Only you can answer if that applies to you and your daughter. In your heart I know you love her and always will, but even loving what you want to be doesn't change what is. You can love her, but not torture yourself by being involved in her life. If this decision is too hard for you to decide on your own I would seek help with a professional. Whatever your decision I send you my love for your peace in this. Sharon
I'm so sorry you're going through this, still. Don't know what to advise but you're a very smart lady. You will do what is right, as long as you remember that you are part of this equation and that means that you have rights, too.
Hugs,
Terry
If there is just no way of having a normal, loving relationship with her, then just concentrate on the good people in your life. Sounds like your son and his wife are blessings to you.
We can't change people who do not want to be changed...only you know if there's even a glimmer of hope with your daughter.
Recite the Serenity Prayer...Keep the faith...Blessings to you,
Nancy
Peace to you
