Thanks Darcie,You're right, I've found that to be true,there's no short cuts,it's one day,one issue,one whatever it is at a time.My problem comes when I look too far down the road of my life.I'll pray for you as well

I get it. I was on the phone with my husband. Telling me he was almost home. 6 minutes later I get a phone call from a stranger telling me he'd been in an accident. Asking if he was ok the man told me he was complaining of leg pain. I was told to meet ambulance at hospital. I never expected what came next. He had died in the ambulance on the was to hospital. He had veered of to the other side of the road, hit a pole and then a parked semi. There were no skid marks or anything that indicated he tried to stop or swerve out of the way. They say they think he had a heart attack or stroke. It's been almost 5months and still no autopsy report. I am left just wondering. I eats at me every day.

Wow...I'm so sorry the lost of your husband,you know I feel your pain...I'm still waiting for my husband's autopsy too...life as I knew it..well it's no more,there's so many things that I need to know that he took care of and I can't ask him.I thought two hours was a alot but six minutes,you're going to be in my thoughts and prayers

dlacosta, Your story sounds alot like mine. My husband was on his way to work in the morning and I had talked to him 30 minutes before his accident. Last thing he told me was that he would call me when he got to work and we both said we loved each other. He too veered off the side of the road and hit a tree. The state highway patrol said there was no signs of braking or skid marks. My husband died instantly they said. The highway patrol thought the same thing-that maybe it was a heart attack. I'm still waiting for the autopsy results it's only been a little over 2 months for me. I just keep thinking of the accident how it may have looked, how he was alone. We live in a small town so I could take care of my parents. He drove over an hour away eveyday to a bigger city in a different state for work. I feel guilty and I am haunted as to what may have happened. On top of that, I will have to seek work at the first of the year and I am scared. I'm scared of my future without my husband. I feel like he was cheated out of life...he was on 55, I am 45. I pam new to this site but everyone's story is so touching, so sad. I pray for us all.
