Trying to go forward

I have been so stressed because
1) my computer messed up no DS for almost a week
2) Once I made my mind up to sell my place and move I wanted it to go forward quickly but things seem to be in slow motion

Luckily my hair dresser has a husband who does handyman stuff so maybe this coming week I can get most of the stuff done.
So I am taking a breathe today hearing this...they are coming Monday - he has a week before his next job...

I order carpeting for three rooms....sigh....I think it will help ....

3) Anxious because I want to sell NOW and move on NOW.
But I have a feeling selling a place will take time....my luck I will be moving mid winter...(HA HA not)

4) July 31st is one yr for me I realize its truly been subconsciously on my mind - I do not want to sit home and veg so I have decided to go with my family to Olive Garden, Celebrate his life and let some balloons go in the park from there....IS that too weird?

Hoping that you get all your stuff fixed this week! And, the new carpet install goes smoothly, and adds the pazazz to get offers on your place, quickly!

I'll be moving in November or October, waiting out the Hurricane season. I know how your feeling, I just want to get it it done, and move on. The move is stessing me, and the garage sale, I am going to have to have!

Your going out and not sitting home on the 31st, sounds the perfect way to celebrate his life and Cherish the memories.

I admire you for recognizing that you need to get out and celebrate your life together. I know in my head I should, but haven't been able to do it yet. I hope I can do as you are doing at some point---and just remember the good things and celebrate who he was and who we were together rather than just live in the sorrow. I will hit the sixth month mark on July 1st

Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day. You have made great strides since your lonely journey began, and you should be proud of yourself! Plus, you have been an encouragement to us here online. Try to relax and say to yourself, one month from today I'll be a lot further down the list of "to do's" that I am today. Then, when the next month is done, say again, look how far I've come in 2 months! You are moving in the right direction. God is saying take it one step at a time. Patience is one of the fruits of the spirit, and it is a hard one to embrace. Be of good cheer! You are getting there, I promise!!

Good luck. I had my house on the market for about six months. Never got any offers. Going to wait until market improves. Barbara
