I went to bed and set the sleep timer on the tv like I normally do, but then I decided to see if ,maybe, just maybe I could fall asleep without the tv on - nope, kind of drifted but then woke up. Now, I'm up and saying hello to all of you and hope you are all sleeping. It is almost 1:30am here. Morning and work come early. I am so grateful through all of this that I telecommute - it has made both the time when he was ill and now after his death just a teeny bit easier. Well off to tv land and hopefully back to la la land I go. I wish you all a decent nights sleep.

If the insomnia was really bad, then I would log onto DS. What was sometimes groovy about that was that as I was in Florida then and it was the middle of the night where I was, it was early evening in places like Australia, so I would wind up interacting with people on the other side of the world. It helped remind me that grief is universal and I didn't feel so alone after that.
Hope you're getting some decent rest....
