Nidia- Thanks for the travel tips. When going with Sights & Soul, you are in a group and they have inclusive touring. I doubt there will be time or the occasion to rent a car. We'll see.

When I get the full information on the trips that were of interest, I will post a new topic. If anyone really wants to go, we'll need to coordinate as smoothly as possible. I have a travel agent who can possibly do all the arrangements for me, or anyone else that is going.

OK. Tuscany is at the top of my list for travel next year but would do anything that sounds good and right now EVERYTHING sounds good, chuckle. I really liked the 2 week tour with Globus to Ireland so I would recommend Globus as a bus tour company. They take excellent care of their people and have great guides. You don't have to do anything but climb on board. I bet they would sculpt a trip for just us if we could get enough people together. I would also like to suggest that maybe we start with a less expensive excursion in the States or Canada so people could try it out and get to know each other. I would definitely be up for that. Globus has tours in the states and Canada too that are reasonable.....like to the Canadian Rockies and such. I could do a small trip in August or September of this year but nothing larger until 2011. Kittytoes - AJ and I are already serious about going in 2011. If you find something reasonable through Globus that sparks your interest, send us message through DS and we'll discuss it. I don't like "projects", so would prefer the decision and travel arrangements run smoothly. We made need to swap personal email addresses at some point.

I would love to go to Italy next year. My husband and I traveled the Lakes region and just loved it. We had plans to travel back to the Amalfi coast, but I am happy to go anywhere in Italy. Keep me posted.

OK, Debbie. I am a planning fool so I'll do some research on an Italy trip possibly through Globus and see if that is an option. I'll have it include Rome and Tuscany . I'll let you know what I find but between now and the end of July I am up to my ears in estate settling. 2011 is a definite for me unless I am in the middle of selling my house, and that is a definite possibility. I could do something small though. I'll get back to you. KT

Thanks for offering to do the "legwork"! I'd like a well planned trip, myself. I'm also not opposed to going on a shorter trip, in the US, someone suggested Vegas? Another place I have never been, I'd love to see some shows there!
