This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
Today has been a particularly bad day. I don't know if it was because it was the holiday weekend or what. My heart is just breaking. I want my Duane so badly. Forty years he was by my side. I loved him so very much. The tears will not quit flowing.
It's been 4 years, give yourself time. Grief is now intertwined in our journey...
Let the tears come, they are integral to the healing process...
A local hospital, hospice or church may sponsor a support group. It is helpful to talk to others with our same experiences.
