3 times in a row when I was working in my home office I thought I heard my husband call me from the living room and started to get up to see what he wanted so real. The dog and cat were sound asleep in the living room so they sensed nothing. I just recently started letting his outdoor cat inside thinking he was approving and enjoying seeing her in the house.

I wish I could hear my husband's voice calling me again. I feel his presence with me all the time, but I haven't heard his voice. It is so hard to be alone after so many years being with another. Everything connects me to him and yet I cannot see or hear him. I struggle to know if he can see or hear me. I wish and hope he can. Yesterday was his birthday and I celebrated as best I could -- his favorite food and a mini birthday cake. My husband has been gone for 22 months -- I miss him like crazy and still can't really believe he is gone. It doesn't seem possible to be so much a part of someone and then they are no longer there. This is my first post -- I don't know what else to say, except reading that you were married 47 years -- my heart just reaches out to you. I'll be 62 in December and was married for 30 years. These type of experiences I dont try and rationalize I just accept them for what they are. If it gives your heart comfort I say embrace it. I know they are much closer than we realize and that gives me a sense of peace. Gerry

I heard or felt Don's presence from shortly after he died. I'm with Gerry on this one. Sharon

sorry... I would have been married 50 next July. I am 65. I have heard my husband calling me also. Or whispering in my ear. My name. I just accept it, and go on. Its been 21 months for me.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
