The muddy walk way in my case 2 acres of pasture where my horses are in.
The leaking roof that I have many opinnions on
1) Do not tear it apart (its only 14 yrs old) it looks in good shape
(its in my garage)
Tore the sheet rock out to find it - its coming in from front going up the roof line as the roofers who did it did not hang roofing over the metal sealing line to keep water out...
SO one says if you tear that section out you have to do the whole roof
One says just get a thing that takes that part up (3' in) and along edges
get your roofing material for just that....I have been told if you tear up one section you have to do the whole roof (twice now)
Gosh....my old neighbor said if this sealant stuff does not work put a tarp on it for winter and when spring comes if we have to reroof the garage we will get a bunch together and put it on...
SO IF ANYONE OF YOU GUYS know what is right or wrong

3) Its been 2 yrs almost 4 months and I still do not like the holidays...
BUT this yr I am going to Thanksgiving at my Moms since my Niece just had a baby girl
4) worrying about if its time to change the pickup oil????
And the car oil and the....

since you have found where the water is "going Up" you can get a tube of silicone caulk and "fix it temporally. In spring call the contractor IF their still in business,"do this now if they are" and tell them that "their work failed" and causing damage to your property they need to get out there. That will at least get you an opinion of what is wrong. If its been 12 years before it started leaking, it could be structural issue that is letting in the rain. If your going to get work done, get three bids. Make sure the people that show up to give you bids know that their one of three contractors your considering. Better prices will result from that and NEVER SIGN ANYTHING THE DAY OF THE BID. Bids should have a start, end date and a warranty on work and materials for at least 20 years. Its a roof, not Brain surgery...
2. Its been six years since Karen Passed and I hate the holidays. I spend a lot of time talking to the star I got her for Christmas and hoping I get a time machine for under the tree...
3. If your car is newer, 2009 and up you can change the oil every 5 K miles. Set your trip odometer and zero every time you get it change. 30-50 bucks depending on what type of car/truck. 4-5 QT should do it unless your car has an oil cooler than its double. Just call the dealer to see what it takes. Quickie lube Just say oil and filter only, this has turned into a commission quest so find one your friends use and go there.

Church, support groups for grief.
Don't rush in to a relationship. I did and the Gold digger got most everything. I was shocked that people are like that but they are. Its not the money I miss but "my memories from the stuff I got rid of. I was so scared to be alone again I gave up things that I would have killed to keep before......I want one of those wheels with boots on it so I can keep kicking my ass for that... But hard less learned that I can at least share with "our community"
I think only dating other widowers is a good idea.......

Good advice we did the black tubing stuff along the edges and placed rain gutters up as it seems the wy the wind ws blowing blowed the rain etc right up the edges....so for a quick for now GOOD
MY Lions club friends said this spring they will get up and fix my roof alls I gotta pay for is the stuff....yeah
I gotta get the oil in my Ford F250 changed...have not used it much...taking horses to vet, hauling hay and a few other things so have not gone 5,000 miles in 2 yrs but I still need to change it.
AND JOseph your experience wanting not to be alone and you get into relationships too fast AT my age I just can not see anyone putting up with me and me vice versa but I also know I probably have 20 yrs left (maybe) and it will be alone THAT SUCKS
I am still young enough to ride my snowmobile, horse etc but .......alone its hard to get anyone to go with me...
SO I am glad you told your story to make us think warily....
AND the roof idea was great.
