But, I can tell you it does get better, it will become a new kind of normal..I found what helped me also was to develope a daily routine, sometimes repetition can be good..Come here often there are lots of wonderful people who are willing to listen and share their experiences..They literally saved my life...

I miss my husband acting funny and his wit was unbelievable. I miss his talents and his laugh and watching him work on projects and train a horse, weld on the ranch and tell me stories about his time in the military. We were married for 28-1/2 years. Oh the mornings are still the worst for me. Having my coffee alone and hearing him call out "coffee woman", or I could sure use another cup of coffee...or can I get some pancakes this morning? Oh life. How you have left me battered.
I hope you keep remembering those wonderful moments. I wish you the best.
