When Amy got sick and we did not know what was wrong we made an doctor's appt. the day that she died. I had taken that day off to go with her and wanted answers from our doctor about what was happening. We did not make that appt. either. I am not sure that it would have made a difference but I always wonder what if.
I hope the best for you and thank you for sharing the tribute to your beloved husband. I hope many people see this in your area and take solace that you may have helped someone else. Peace ~Pete
Anyway, we should advise people to buy insurance. It's not expensive, and it will help protect your loved ones if you die. My children were grown by the time my wife died. I cannot imagine her coping with grief as well as trying to juggle all the financial responsibilities of raising our children without some sort of insurance.
There are also many other ways we can help, like wills, letting your spouse know all your accounts/passwords, making funeral plans, etc. Death is certain. Don't make it more difficult on your loved ones than it already is!

After Cliff died, I lectured every guy I worked with to make sure they got insurance. Nobody should have to go through it.
Thank you for sharing that with us. I wish I could give you a real hug - you earned one!!!
Love and Big Hugs,
