What a difference a week can make. Last week I lived with fear. Then I had the week that changed me. Here it is broken down into days.
1)It started Friday when I received an email in Spanish and read it without translating in my mind into English. That's when I realize that I'm becoming fluent in the language.
2) On Saturday I was at work. A normal day for me, except I had an attack that made me think I was having a stroke. An ambulance was called and I was taken to the hospital where they tested me for heart attacks and strokes. Everything normal, but I had to confront my fear of getting sick and having no one here to care for me. And who would care for my bird if I ended up staying there? So there I was in the hospital, reading my Kindle, and trying to call someone. My father is too far away to drive out to my area at night. My step-daughter is home with what sounds like the flu. Anyhow my coworkers said they'd take care of the bird, and so did my step-daughter, and so did my father. And when I was released I got a cab to my car(I didn't have cash, so the hospital wrote a voucher), then I drove home, hooked up my telephone in the bedroom(I got an old Princess phone) and woke up the next day.
Now I've lived my worst nightmare--sick in the hospital and no one to care for me or the bird. I'm fine.
3) Sunday. I went to a new church where I met a criminal preacher. I felt something was wrong from the beginning. And kept picturing him in jail or up on felony charges. I say it is God whispering in my ear. Some would say I'm psychic. Either way, a quick google of him revealed I was right. He's up on felony charges for stealing from his members. Stunning. And I'm still standing.
4) Monday. A nice time doing yoga. My bolster and yoga blanket arrived. Loved it and felt young. Felt good.
5) Tuesday. Several of my clients commented on how young I looked. They couldn't believe I have two grandkids. I'm 54 and proud to be 54.
Read about an actress who at 84 died at home. She was alone and no one knew she'd died for a full year later. So sad, but another fear was confronted for me. What's gonna happen to me when I get older? I talked about it here and got replies.
6) Wednesday-- Read the replies from yesterday and met a real estate person at work who bought a condo for 37,500. Which got me thinking. The actress died at home alone, but what if I had a condo and what if I paid for the thing out of my retirement. End of problem. Right? I think so. I could call out if I needed help. Then I got home and read the rest of the replies and felt even better. By the way this also solves the homeless fear I've had since becoming the sole breadwinner. I'll buy a cheap condo and pay it off. Even If I don't live there I'll always have a place to live. So two fears gone for the price of one.
7) It's a little after midnight Thursday. I'm going to go and watch Oprah who has a show on the civil rights movement and then I'll go to bed, knowing I really have nothing to fear.
I'm feeling exceptional.

Your plans for your future sound very good. And please try another church - keep visiting ones until you find the one that fits you. I am so happy you are feeling exceptional! And thanks for letting us know, so we can share in your joy!

I liked the way you talked things out - and wrote them down
Good affirmations in writing
You sound so level headed - will ya send some my way??
Feeling exceptional sounds wonderful & I bet it feels even better.
Have a great day
I do wonder about a condo for that low amount! I would want to know the area it was in.....the condition it was in...because I can;t imagine anything that is that low that is a condo.lease be very careful. You will also have condo fees.
(((hugs)))
Feels good. I am so there.
