I was at a grocery store today and saw a magazine at the checkout. It sat among the tabloids and other fashion magazines, but stood out with it's title, "The Truth about Heaven." I figure, oh, here we go again, another scientific exploration of the bible. I was wrong. I read the first page which explained that it was about Heaven, but don't expect to find a debate between Christians and atheists. Instead a description of Heaven would be provided based on the scripture from the bible.

I took my chance and purchased it. With quotes from the bible and other Christian books, the magazine kept me reading until I finished it two hours later.

It's light and beautiful reading that took me to the place that my husband and so many others now are blessed to call home.

I just thought I'd pass it along as suggested reading. I found it at a Jewel grocery store in Illinois and it is on display until 10/31/14.

I've read a few books about Heaven myself since my husband died seven months ago. He was raised by his grandmother to love the Lord, and he did his entire life (he died at age 77, didn't look a day over 50). He lived a full, exciting, adventurous, fun life!! I was honored to be a part of him for his last sixteen years. BTW, he never married until he met me...I reigned him in at age 67 ...he needed to calm his life down some! That's for sure ((: I've also had a relationship with my Lord all of my life but on a less deep level than Sams.
I just joined DS today and have not even written my first post but I wanted to comment on yours. Anyways, I know he is in Heaven and I will join him some day. I am 1000% sure of Heaven and the spirit world. Keep in mind, I'm like the (sane) girl next door...but, I have had ghost/spirit experiences since I was fifteen, I am 62 now. I've been in haunted houses including Sams and my house in Montgomery, AL. He was a non believer until things started happening to him. Hahaha. I also had a near death experience almost four years ago now. So in my mind there is not one bit of doubt of what is waiting for me when my time comes. So do continue to read up on Heaven, because "it is for real".

If I could share with you all what I have be allowed to see I would. Heaven is more, so much more that anybody can describe or imagine! We should rejoice that our loved ones go there, complete and fully cured. Soon, very soon we will ALL know the great secret

I've only seen the magazine version in a Jewel food store. No author mentioned, like most magazunes, but the editor is Christopher D. Hudson and he has a book coming out with the exact same title.

Meanwhile, I've seen a copy of the magazine on Ebay, sold out. I would try the store. The cover list it as SPC Specials. There are no adverts at all.

Tonight I rented HEAVEN IS FOR REAL. Although it brought tears, it also brought me some peace.

I believe my husband is in heaven, and I know he's free of pain and he's happy.

I liked when the little boy said no one wears glasses, and everyone is as they were in their late 20's or early 30's ... at the prime of their life.

I watched Heaven Is For Real just last week. Obviously from what I wrote above I am a believer. Having said that, when a child who is not even four years old has the experience.........it's hard to not trust he is speaking the (his) truth. All that can follow IS peace. There are a few book written by doctors about young children and their near death experiences out there. I had one but do not remember the title or author. Very, very interesting though and truth in its purest form.
