It's been nearly nine months since he's been gone. I am usually not much of a cryer, but heaven's to betsy I have only gone one day in all this time without crying. Then I cried for ten days straight. I do feel like I am "progressing", but the tears are always just below the surface. It doesn't take much for the water works to start. Especially when I am alone with my thoughts. Just a thought, a trigger, a little memory. You name it, here I go again. No matter what I do something always reminds me that he is not here and everything we had is over. He is missing so much and it's so unfair that he can't be here to help me through all that is to be. I have just resigned myself that I guess I will always keep crying for him and hurting for him. My heart is shattered for sure. And if this is what is to be, then ok. Our love of 40 years makes it all worth while. Hugs and Love to all! May we all find Peace and Comfort in this new year, Michele

Ive never been the time to get very emotional as far as actually crying but moreless sad.
I have had a lot of that since he passed but prob not as much as I need too. One thing is I haven't really cried in front of people and even my therapist said that ,I haven't seen you cry yet. Maybe its because people overwhelm me with the words that you are so strong and maybe I feel because they cram that down my throat that I feel that I don't have to let them see the other side. I can cover very well.
