It has occured to me that if I had lost one pound a year, starting at 13, I would now be at my goal weight. And maybe my Dh could have seen me slim, and trim, the way I wanted to be. Oh, well!

If I had stayed the same I would have been in great shape - I never ate as much as I do now - keep saying I have to stay on a diet - but - stay on - I don't even seem to get on it.

Mgould, I find myself in the same situation. But I always have said that "round" is a shape LOL

yeah....thin is in.....but fat is where it's at.
We had a tradition of getting wings for the Super Bowl.....I'm debating.

i have been overweight my whole life. Since hubby passed two months ago, i have lost a lot of weight, (still over weight though) and people keep trying to feed me. Really i have some to spare. And i am sure it will all find its way back.

I've lost 20lbs since the first of December just watching my carbohydrate intake. Smaller meals, but I do continue to eat the good stuff....just smaller amounts of potatoes, rice and pasta.

I like that "round" is a shape. I may use that :)

In Nov. I lost quite a bit of weight. I had a baby. That will do it every time. Now you see it...now you dont. I am now, after 3 mos, back to my normal size and enjoying the thrill of being able to zip up my jeans again. When spring arrives I will get out the jogging stroler and start running again. It really makes me feel good to run before I start work.

I am so glad to hear that I am not the only one dealing with weight issues. I hear the carb diet is good. My daughter is on it now and losing quite a bit of weight. My problem is more lack of excercise and eating the wrong foods. Maybe I will give the carb thing a try. Diane

I like your sense of humor.

Unfortunately, food is the friend who watches TV with me, entertains me when I go to the mall, and, most importantly, meets me at Cracker Barrel when I want to feel normal. I wouldn't dare want to hurt her feelings, so I keep seeking comfort in our awkward friendship!!!!! (sigh) TJ

I was not overweight till this roller coaster ride started and I began reaching for the comfort food i.e. chocolate. Now I have decided I'm not overweight, I am under tall.

I could probably stand to loose 10 -15 lbs......... but me and the scale are not on speaking terms and no one in their right mind would want to see these old bones in a bikini anymore..... so
