The little things!

I posted it on our sister site.The little things that get so over looked through our lives in general, but most of all through this grieving journey.

Noticing the little things. Lately I have made a point to notice the little things in life that bring so much comfort. The flowers still blooming, the sunsets and starry nights. The sounds of the cicada's and of course all the little critters that seem to be finding me. The pitter patter of little puppy feet and the snuggling with my older dogs. Watching my grand daughter play in the sand with the neighbor girl and playing with them. Listening to their giggles and their pretending to have opened a restaurant. ha ha. But most of all the sweet little hugs and the 6 year old: I love you Grandma! The world is such an amazing place, so full of comfort if we take the time to see through our grieving eyes. I so hope my husband sees us all, I want him to know that we miss him, but will go on! Hugs and Love to all, Michele

Yes Scott those little ones are just amazing aren't they. So full of curiosity, and so inocent. I feel sometimes we need to take lessons from them. Live in the moment and not worry about the future. just "BE" as they are. Hugs to you, enjoy those grands, Michele

Beautiful thoughts Michele! The little things are very important to me. A lot of people overlook them as insignificant but in reality it's those precious things that make life worth living! Thanks for reminding us to stop and smell the roses!
