My family has left today back to Boise.

What a character that almost 3 yr old grandson is. And even though his baby brother had an ear infection and cough he was such a good baby, a talker....

Seeing them leave makes me realize I do need to sell my place and move closer being around them is such a pick me up, good lease on life, etc.

My birthday is the ninth but the earlier birthday present of a laptop will make my life easier.. He also updated my computer and it seems to be working alittle better. SHHHH

I cried when they were finally loaded and ready to leave. I tried not to

Chelsea(my yellow lab) is sad too she misses your other little dog, cause she died and went to heaven.... Well I think Chelsea misses him too even though he was bossy ---

Sounds like you had a wonderful visit with your family! I always try to hide my tears when my kids leave to go back to Maryland. Daughter and 7 yo grandson are here right now - came on Saturday and leaving on Thursday - too short of a visit! We are packing everything we had planned into 5 short days - we come home exhausted! I sleep better though. Cooper keeps my dog entertained and he sleeps better too.
Saying prayers that your house will sell and you can move to Idaho. Real estate seems to be turning around, so maybe you will find the perfect buyer!

I'm so glad yo had so much fun on the vist, and SORRY you have to go through this let down now.

My hopes your house sells and you can be closer to family and wont have to go though this let down when a visit is over, because you'll be right in the neighborhood!!

Sounds to me, like you had a great time with your family. It is bittersweet to see them go.

If you don't sell your place, is there a way to rent it? I know that the real estate market is terrible right now. I know I would do better renting my place, than selling right now.

Nothing helps us see the world better than the eyes of a grandchild...and nothing more important than family and good friends.

Prayers and best wishes to you on selling your home and being with your family. I too have been contemplating selling my home and moving back 'HOME"...there's a lot of work to be done to get to that point...so I am also sending you a little extra energy to do this task and the strength to let go of all the emotional attachments you might have. Nicker, so glad you enjoyed your family, especially those precious grandkids. They bring so much joy into our lives. I thank God everyday for my precious babies. Hoping your house sells soon so you can be closer to them. What a nice gift you received. Does it have a video camera in it? If not, you can get one pretty inexpensive. Sign up for Skype and you can see them when you talk to them. Next best thing to being there.

I know the feeling of after the visit.....it's even harder when you are the one that has to leave from their home. Not that I would want to live with my kids, but it sure does a heart good to see them when they live far away.
