in honor of Veterans day I would like to say to all of you who have served in our armed forces, "THANK YOU" for serving. and to all of you whose late spouses have served, I also am thankful to them for serving. If you were married to them while they were serving, "thank you" for the sacrifices that you and your families made to enable them to serve.

And especially if you lost them while they were serving, THANK YOU!
I am greatful for the freedoms that they have helped secure.
I respect them for their service and sacrifice and respect you as well for your sacrifices. God bless you!
We owe you all a debt of gratitude!

Thanks to all who have served thd those that currently serve. You have made us realize that freedom is not free.

My husband, Todd would have been 28 years old Nov. 21 and he died in Iraq Feb 19, 2010. Semper Fi, Todd!

I don't know how to begin to convey my deepest sympathies and express my gratitude.

He's a HERO and I owe you and him (should it be he?) a HUGE debt of gratitude. I am so very sorry !

Kaaren, I am deeply sorry for your loss. I should have realized your husband was killed in Iraq. I am so sorry. This humbles me as an American. My dad is a veteran and I have a brother in the Navy. God bless all of them.

I would like to add my thanks to all our service men and women and to all who have served in the past. We would not be able to enjoy this great country had it not been for
all of them.

I would like to add a BIG THANK YOU to all who have served and are now serving. Donald was a veteran, and now we have a 22 yr old Grandson who is serving in a VERY hot zone. My husband (I still cant refer to him in past tense) is also a veteran.

I want to add my THANK YOU to all Veterans!!

Kaaren, I'm just so sorry that you lost Todd in Iraq!!

Joe served during the Viet Nam War, but, didn't have to go there. He had a brother to fight there though. (Joe was the 4th of 5 boys) In fact, 4 out of 5 of the boys served in the Military Forces, only the youngest didn't serve. Joe's Dad also served during WWII. So, Veteran's Day is rather sacred in his family.

THANK YOU really isn't enough, but, it's all I've got.

I am grateful to all our Veterans who have served our country in times of peace and conflict. My husband served during Vietnam in a non-combat unit. My oldest served in the Navy during the first Gulf war in a rear area, second son was in the Army, and my youngest is currently in the Marine Corps. I am thankful for all the brave men and women who so proudly served our country.

I work on a military post and am surrounded by wonderful military personnel from all branches of the service. My military students have a very special place in my heart because my children grew up travelihg with the Air Force. A heartfelt thank you to all who have served, to those who are serving now, and for those who are planning to serve in the future. God Bless America!

I served in Vietnam 1970-71. Thank you all for your comments - it means a great deal to me.

I would like to add my thanks to my fellow brothers and sisters who have served and are currently serving. I would like to especially honor all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Kaaren, Todd is a real hero in my book.
